Shipping & Returns
Every Carbon & Hyde piece is handcrafted in our family-owned fine jewelry manufacturing house in Downtown Los Angeles, then personally prepared and shipped by our team in our signature gift packaging.
Production & Availability
Due to the variation in metal colors and finger sizes, not all of our items are in stock and ready to ship. Please allow up to 2 weeks for fulfillment on some items. To inquire about availability prior to purchase, our team is available via livechat or email. For time-sensitive occasions, reach our team at concierge@carbonandhyde.com and we will do everything in our power to meet your timeline.
Shipping
All domestic orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx 2-Day free of charge and fully insured, or overnight for an additional fee. A signature is required upon delivery. For added flexibility, orders may be redirected to a UPS or FedEx Access Point for pickup with a valid government-issued ID.
International orders ship via FedEx International and arrive within 4–6 business days of dispatch. Please note that customs duties and import taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.
Carbon & Hyde is not liable for carrier delays or fees incurred after shipment.
We want you to love your Carbon & Hyde piece. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied, we are happy to assist with a return or exchange within 5 days of delivery, for unworn items in their original condition. Items returned after 5 days are eligible for exchange or store credit only.
Final Sale
All personalized, special order, and sale or promotional items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange.
Fees
All exchanges are free of restocking fees. For orders returned for a full refund:
- Domestic returns — 10% restocking fee
- International returns — 15% restocking fee (customs & duties are the responsibility of the customer)
- Order cancellations prior to shipment — 10% restocking fee
- All shipping fees are non-refundable
Ring Resizing
If you have ordered an incorrect size, we are happy to resize your ring to the correct size at no charge. We will only ask the customer to cover the costs of the repair shipping.
How To Return
To begin a return or exchange, please contact us by email. We will provide a prepaid, insured return shipping label to ensure your jewelry is fully protected in transit.
Refunds are credited to the original payment method, less any applicable fees.
Applicable to items purchased at www.carbonandhyde.com only. Carbon & Hyde reserves the right to decline any return or exchange that does not meet the above criteria.
Domestic Returns
Please send an e-mail to concierge@carbonandhyde.com to request your pre-paid shipping label.
All items must be returned in the original gift packing your order was received in. Please be sure to package your items securely in a shipping box (no shipping envelopes as they can cause damage to the jewelry during shipping). We recommend to secure the package at home prior to delivering to the store, as to keep the contents of the package discreet. We recommend to drop the package off on weekdays Monday - Thursday as to not have the package sit at the carrier over the weekend. Visit ups.com/dropoff for nearest drop off locations.
Your return will be received within 2 business days and your refund or credit processed within 5-7 business days.
International Returns
We are not able to issue pre-paid return labels to our international customers at this time. Please send an e-mail to concierge@carbonandhyde.com to request a return.

When filling out the Commercial Invoice for your return package, please mark the package as a "Return" to avoid customs charges. Please save your tracking number in the event you need to track your package.

Sales tax is charged to orders shipped within California only, at the local tax rate. Orders shipped domestically outside of California are exempt from sales tax.
Lifetime Warranty
Carbon & Hyde stands behind every piece with a lifetime warranty of care. We offer complimentary cleaning & polishing services at any time, though we recommend not to professionally polish your jewelry more than once a year. Due to the delicate nature of jewelry, with each professional polishing, there may be some gold lost in the process, and if done too often may weaken your piece.
Complimentary cleaning and polishing services are available to you at any time. Simply reach out to our concierge team to arrange. We do not recommend professional polishing more than once per year as excessive polishing can gradually weaken the piece over time.
Repairs
We will always do our best to accommodate and remedy any and all repair needs, however not all repairs are complimentary. Damage resulting from wear and tear, improper care, or misuse is the responsibility of the customer. Each repair is assessed individually at Carbon & Hyde's discretion, and we are committed to providing all services at the lowest possible cost.
Please note that the customer is responsible for the insured roundtrip shipping for repair requests (Domestic $75 round trip, International $250 round trip)
